The Vita-Mix is pretty expensive ($450) but they offer a 3-payment plan which helps breakup the costs. I convinced my sister to buy one to make her little boy's baby food and she found one refurb'd for $350. At any rate, the time saved blending frozen stuff is definitely worth it in my book.
